Boss Crump, mayor of Memphis at the beginning of the 20th century had the vision to take what he called the backdoor of the city, a riverfront made up of commercial docks, cotton bales & industrial trash heaps, and transform it into a beautiful riverfront park to serve as a welcome mat for all who visit and call Memphis home. He envisioned our riverfront to be The Front Porch of the City of Good Abode.
Welcome to The Front Porch. A place to enjoy the view. A place to relax. A place to gather with your neighbor. A place to imbibe & nourish your soul. A place where we celebrate. A place to where you always feel welcome.
The Front Porch is a pop up dining experience on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi beginning in June 2017.
